A contract signed by Jimi Hendrix raised over $ 62,000 during an auction. The document
is from 1967 and deals with the publishing rights of the deceased guitar virtuoso and
his first album in 1970.

The contract went under the hammer in the sign of the Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction. A large number of items of international stars  exchanged ownership on Friday during the online auction. Besides Hendrix  other memorabilia were available, including Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

A red shirt that Elvis Presley wore at a concert was sold for more than twelve thousand U.S. dollars. A strand of hair from Michael Jackson reportedly fished out of the shower drain of a hotel room where he once lived, yielded nearly eleven thousand U.S. dollars .
