Katy Perry is on the big screen this summer in 3D. A source tells us that a film about the popular singer is in the making.

A performance of the star is filmed end of 2011 with multiple 3D cameras by director Nanette Bernstein.

The film shows how Katy grew into the popular pop star over the years she is today.

It is expected that the project is going to be in the theaters in June or July. Paramount Pictures, the film company that also had great success with the Justin Bieber movie Never Say Never, will probably push it into the world.
