Black Sabbath Reunited CONFIRMED! New 2012 Album and Tour!

Black Sabbath is going to reunite in 2012 with the original line-up dropping a new studio album, followed by a world tour.

The ​ band announced this Friday on their website . The CD is produced by Rick Rubin (Metallica, Slayer). An exact release date is still unknown.

The band in the original line consists of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. The world tour  will start of at the Download Festival in England on June 10.The four band members were in Los Angeles to announce the news during a press conference at the Whisky A Go Go.

A reunion of Black Sabbath hung in the air for some time. In August a British journalist spoke his mouth off, after which guitarist Iommi quickly intervent to disprove  the rumors of a possible reunion.

Founders

The first album of the founders of heavy metal appeared in 1969. The British band released eight albums with Ozzy Osbourne, till the singer was fired in 1979.

The band is back together since 1997 and has never parted since. A new album never came, despite the fact that attempts were made.
